The Downtown L.A. Streetcar will connect numerous transit options, neighborhoods, historic and commercial districts, entertainment venues, and the civic center. It will support the continuing revitalization of Downtown and catalyze economic development. Modern streetcars run on a fixed guideway embedded in public streets, move with the flow of traffic, and have proven themselves as serious economic development tools, spurring substantial investment and community development in numerous U.S. cities. We want L.A. to be next!
